(Forgettable) Friendship

But you don't get to ask why we don't open up,
Or why we never share more than a hug
Honestly I don't care,
That you're never available
Because I respect you enough to know your boundaries.
But when there are people out there (like me) who are willing to drop everything for a bud,
Then I wonder why they're not my friend instead.
Because if two people are willing to work for each other-
Friendship flourishes in a way like no other.
